Corinna Underwood originates from England. She is a published author with more than ten years of experience. Her features and short fiction has appeared in hundreds of publications and websites. She is also the author of several non-fiction books and a teen novel. When she's not writing she enjoys movies, reading, gardening and walking with her dog.

Corinna has a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and English Literature and a Masters degree in Women's Studies. For several years she has been expanding her background in philosophy and sociology in an exploration of embodiment and it's boundaries. The eventual outcome of this research will be a series of texts that explore traditional models of embodiment such as dualistic medical models and binarized models of sexuality and critically contrast these with a refiguration of  embodiment that transgress such boundaries.
